The mobile library of Shalom...
A new endeavor of Shalom for the spiritual fostering of Kerala.
Shanthi Vahini
A mobile library designed for propagating Christian books and the selected works of Christian publishers and also for the evangelization through visual media.
Purpose
To introduce authentic books written about spiritual growth, prayer life, Christian life style, the history of the church and personality development, to the Christian population in various parts of Kerala.
Programmes
Two days spent in each parish (Saturday,Sunday,/ Monday,Tuesday,/ Wednesday,Thursday) On these days full time book exhibition, Holy mass in the evening, music service, sermon evoking the experience of God, exhibition of rare Christian movies etc. are conducted.
Availability
Selected books of major publication such as POC, St. Paul's, Carmel, Christeen, Vimalayam, Vimala, Jeevan, Bathany, Merit charismatic national services team Shalom etc., varieties of rosaries and attractive devotional objects.
Facilities
Modern devices such as LCD projector, T.V., D.V.D., Computer etc. are the special features of Shanthi Vahini.
Venue
Places such as church and school premises where the parish people can reach at their convenience.
